Just been watching a re-run of the Italia 90 WCSF and half way through, they show a mostauched gent with bowler hat on etc dressed in red/ white / blue, big rosettes etc. He seems to be at most games and the TV make a point of showing him, I have seen him on loads of England footage from the 60's onwards and just wondered if anybody could tell me anything further?

He was called Ken Bailey, fro Bournemouth, and died in 1993 at the age of 82. He appeared as England mascot at all major sporting events, dressed in the same Union Flag waistcoat, and would wave the flag. He was a regular fixture at Twickenham and Wembley.
